Bare Your Sole 2010 is the flagship event which aims to raise funds for Habitat Singapore’s
work as well as raise awareness of plight of children living in poverty housing by giving
Singaporeans a chance to experience the lives of children living in poverty by engaging
them in a barefoot walk.
This year, Habitat for Humanity Singapore are in partnership with Barclays Bank PLC and
HHS are honored to have Mr. S. Dhanabalan ( the patron ) and Miss Eunice Olsen
( the Goodwill Ambassador ) as the guests of honour.
Event Details
Date: June 5th 2010
Time: 7am – 3pm
Location: East Coast Park, Angsana Green
Flag off time is at 8am
Food, Games and Entertainment will run throughout from 7am to 3pm
Suggested Participation Donations:
Adults – A Choice of either $25, $35 and $45
Family (comprising 2 Adults + 2 Children) – A choice of either $80, $100, $120
Students/Children – $10

The largest worldwide water initiative in history
The Dow Live Earth Run for Water consists of a series of 6 km run/walks in countries around the world. The event will feature A-List artistes concerts and water education activities aimed at igniting a tipping point to help solve the global water crisis.
Why 6km?
This is the average distance many women and children walk every day to get access to clean and safe water in developing countries.
‘This is Why we Run’
Right now, close to a billion people are without access to clean, safe drinking water, and by 2025 two thirds of us will live in water scarce areas.
10% of entry fees will go to our local water charity partner, Lien Aid, to support water project around the region.

OCBC Cycle Singapore seeks to inspire all generations of men and women to experience cycling as a form of recreation and fitness. With five distance options, OCBC Cycle Singapore accommodates all level of riders and offers the public a unique opportunity to cycle on car-free streets all over Singapore while enjoying its iconic landmarks such as the National Stadium, the F1 Pit Building and the Singapore Flyer.
The 2009 event was Singapore’s first mass participation cycling experience on public roads which catered for every level of cyclist from beginner to professional. The occasion was a true success story with more than 5,300 participants taking to the road!
OCBC Cycle Singapore 2010 will also play host to a Cycling and Lifestyle Village as well as a Carnival providing entertainment and food and beverage for participants and spectators alike on the day.
The event is committed to promoting safe cycling in Singapore and hopes to contribute to developing Singapore as a growing sporting nation.
Anyone two and older will be able to cycle in OCBC Cycle Singapore 2010; provided you are healthy, you are more than welcome to join!
To cater to an even wider spectrum of riders, OCBC Cycle Singapore 2010 will offer a new category: The Tricycle Ride – a safe, 100m ride at the F1 Pit Building for kids from two to five years old.
